Hello – I am a Mathematician. I know Math and I love helping others learn Math. I have a B.A. and M.S. in Mathematics from two prestigious universities. I recently retired from the IT Industry where I held positions of computer programmer, analyst, consultant and senior manager. During my career I always made time to help students of all ages with various subjects, topics and problems in Math. I’m happy to say I am able to tutor regularly now that I have the time; and if you’d like to learn from a “Seasoned” Math professional, please contact me. I eagerly look forward to meeting you and getting to work. I truly believe there are no issues or problems in Math that we as a team cannot solve! I really enjoy Math and my enthusiasm is contagious. My tutoring style is fun, energized and personalized to meet the needs and rate of progress of the student. I always make sure the student understands the concepts and principles surrounding a particular issue or topic before advancing. This is extremely important in order to avoid more, and perhaps bigger, problems in subsequent topics. Having a complete understanding also helps ensure the student can solve the same or similar problems when presented in different formats. With my approach, my guidance and the student’s commitment to learning Math, success is inevitable.

Going to my 2 Grandsons sporting events and playing catch with them; going to as many professional baseball games as possible (I lettered all 4 years in Baseball at College and was co-captain of my High School Baseball team Senior Year) ; going to the Ballet, Jazz and Classical Music performances; and doing advanced studies in Mathematics.
